Fire.
There was screaming. There was noise. There was rubble falling around him as the dragon flew overhead, raining destruction all around, but it was the fire that burned itself into Torsten's mind.
It didn't take long for his adrenaline to kick in, his legs almost moving on their own, carrying him through the ruins. He stumbled and tripped as he climbed through the rubble, his awareness of his surroundings increasing as the shock of the sudden attack wore off. A cry stood out from the others a woman's.
